FPC has appointed Chairman Mr. Wen-Bee Kuo as convener and president Jerry Lin as deputy conveners for the promotion of social responsibility operations. They are responsible for developing social responsibility strategies, supervising the performance of these strategies at FPC, and conducting social responsibility work in cooperation with the Social Responsibility Promotion Center of the Group Administration Office.
The order of the themes and issues of this Report were decided in a meeting at the beginning of every year by the President Office, Environmental Health and Safety Department, Accounting Department, Factory Management Department, various business divisions, and members of the Social Responsibility Promotion Center. The content of this Report was first compiled and submitted to the convener and the deputy convener before being reported to the Board of Directors, the latest one was on June 11, 2025 in order to ensure that the issues disclosed in this Report are in line with the needs of stakeholders.
In May 2022, the Board of Directors approved the establishment of the Sustainable Development Committee to promote the achievement of sustainability goals related to environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance, thereby strengthening its functions and management mechanisms.
The Board of Directors regularly reviews various ESG-related issues, including carbon neutrality, circular economy, water and energy conservation, greenhouse gas reduction, climate change, zero wastewater discharge, zero accidents, occupational safety, social engagement, industry-academia collaboration, operational performance, and risk management. This includes setting sustainable goals, formulating strategies, defining management policies, and monitoring implementation, as well as providing recommendations and making adjustments on relevant issues as needed.
