在建廠設計階段即以最佳可行技術(Best Available Technology，BAT)及最佳可行控制技術 (Best Available Control Technology，BACT) 的理念，採用最先進及能源效率最佳之製程與污染防制設備；運轉以後即嚴格控管水資源及能源的耗用，並不斷檢討改善。
訂定關鍵績效指標(Key Performance Indicators，KPIs)及年度目標，定期掌握各項指標執行情形及檢討目標達成進度，對於績效落後之廠處 加強輔導，績效良好之廠處則予以鼓勵，提升員工參與感及成就感。

氣候變遷所帶來的風險與機會
本公司依據財務衝擊嚴重度(縱軸)與發生機率(橫軸)，繪製風險矩陣圖(如下圖)鑑別氣候變遷風險，並按風險矩陣分數區分重大風險/機會、中度風險/機會及低度風險/機會。所有氣候變遷管理方案均納入全公司環境相關風險管理系統並定期監督。

FPC adopts the most advanced manufacturing processes and pollution control equipment with the concepts of Best Available Technology (BAT) and Best Available Control Technology (BACT), starting from the factory design stage. We strictly control the quality of water resources and consumption of energy and performs constant reviews and makes improvement.

Risk and Opportunity Identification Results
FPC draws a risk matrix (as shown on the left) to identify climate change risks according to the severity level of financial impact (vertical axis) and the likelihood of risk occurrence (horizontal axis), and classifies risks into major risk, medium risk, and low risk according to risk matrix score. All climate change management programs are incorporated into our environment-related risk management system and regularly monitored.
