In line with the government's development policy with regard to circular economy and eco parks, we not only continue to reduce wastewater discharge and greenhouse gas emissions, but will also invest NT$790 million to improve water and energy conservation, which is estimated to save 1,262 tons of water every day, 3.3 tons of steam every hour, 5,500 kWh of electricity every hour and 360 kg of fuel every hour. At the same time, as the sixth largest carbon fiber manufacturer in the world, we have spent two years developing a new type of carbon fiber fan blades for cooling towers, which has a longer service life and higher operating efficiency than traditional glass fiber fan blades. The use of this type of fan blades will be extended to all other 556 cooling towers aged 8 years and above in FPG, where it is expected to further reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 14,000 tons per year. As moving toward, a low-carbon economy has become a global trend, we plan to invest NT$700 million to replace the use of coal in boilers at the co-generation plant in Renwu Complex with natural gas, so as to reduce the use of coal. In conjunction with the schedule of gas supply by CPC Corporation, this initiative is expected to be completed by the end of 2021. Besides, to eliminate visual pollution among nearby residents, we will invest NT$200 million to improve on white smoke from chimneys, where this initiative is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
