為強化競爭力，本公司積極進行產能擴建及去瓶頸工程，包括：

(1) 寧波廠區聚丙烯(PP) 去瓶頸工程：年產PP7.2萬公噸， 投資金額新台幣2.7億元， 預定於2019年第一季完工投產，年產能將由45萬噸提高為52.2萬噸。 (2) 寧波廠區丙烷脫氫(PDH) 廠新建工程：年產丙烯60萬噸，投資金額8億美元，預定2021 年第2季完工投產。 (3) 美國德州高密度聚乙烯(HDPE) 廠新建工程：年產HDPE40萬噸，投資金額5.4億美元，預定2018年底完工投產。 (4) 美國德州廠區乙烷裂解廠新建工程：年產乙烯120萬公噸，投資金額13.4億美元，預定2019年第一季完工投產。

To enhance competitiveness, FPC is actively engaging in capacity expansion and debottlenecking projects, including:

(1)Polypropylene (PP) debottlenecking project at the Ningbo Complex: With an annual output of 72 thousand tons of PP and an investment of NT$270 million, it is estimated that this project will complete, with the complex beginning operation, in the first quarter of 2019, while annual production capacity will increase from 450 thousand tons to 522 thousand tons.

(2)Construction of the new propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant at the Ningbo Complex: With an annual output of 600 thousand tons of PP and an investment of US$800 million, it is estimated that this project will complete, with the plant beginning operation, in the second quarter of 2021.

(3)Construction of the new high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant in Texas, USA: With an annual output of 400 thousand tons of HDPE and an investment of US$540 million, it is estimated that this project will complete, with the plant beginning operation, at the end of 2018.

(4)Construction of a new ethane cracking plant in Texas, USA: With an annual output of 1.2 million metric tons of ethylene and an investment of US$1.34 billion, it is estimated that this project will complete, with the plant beginning operation, in the first quarter of 2019.
