本公司高雄廠為台塑企業發源地，內含王永慶、王永在昆仲兩位創辦人辦公室等13棟建物，以及本公司第一代PVC重合槽等。配合高雄市發展城市觀光政策，並保存全國第一座塑膠產業之工業遺址，台塑企業與高雄市政府於2018年4月13日在高雄廠共同舉辦捐贈典禮。2018年12月業經高雄市政府公告登錄為歷史(紀念)建築，未來原址2.5公頃將設立「高雄市王永慶、王永在昆仲公園」。

為利公園修復、管理維護暨再利用，本公司已於2018年7月偕南亞、台化及台塑石化公司共同出資成立基金會。另於8月先將所持有部分園區0.355公頃土地產權捐贈高雄市政府、11月再將地上建物與設備產權捐贈予基金會。期待未來公園完成修復開放後，能成為一個具有歷史文化與遊憩、教育意義之觀光景點，並帶動高雄市經濟發展。

另為提升公園正式營運前之曝光度，2018年針對退休員工及鄰里居民共舉辦兩場預約式導覽。未來將持續舉辦，以蒐集民眾對公園規劃需求之意見，並儲備未來協助導覽之志工人選。

FPC’s Kaohsiung Complex is the birthplace of FPG, which includes the office of the two founders of FPG, Mr. Wang Yung-Ching and Mr. Wang Yung-Tsai, as well as our first generation PVC polymerization tank. In order to preserve the first industrial site in the plastic industry in Taiwan in line with the Kaohsiung City Government's policy of developing urban tourism, FPG and the Kaohsiung City Government jointly hosted the donation ceremony on April 13th 2018. Kaohsiung City Government has announced the Kaohsiung Complex as historical buildings in December 2018 so as to establish the Wang Yung-Ching and Wang Yung-Tsai Park.

FPC, NPC, FCFC and FPCC set up a fund which is responsible for promoting the restoration, management, maintenance and reuse of the park in July 2018. We also donated part of the land in the park covering 0.355 hectares to the Kaohsiung City Government in August 2018, and donated the above-ground structures and equipment to the Fund in November 2018. We anticipate the park to provide the public a tourist spot with historical culture, recreation and educational significance along with economic development in Kaohsiung City.

In order to gain more publicity before opening, we held two promotion tours for our retired employees and neighborhood residents in 2018 and will have more tours in the future for recruiting the volunteer docents.
